In pictures: Celebrations continue in Falmouth with Jubilee parade
People lined the streets to watch the Mayor's Jubilee parade led by Falmouth Marine Band.
The parade yesterday (3rd) is one of a number of different events happening in Falmouth to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Leaving The Moor at 12:30pm, the parade made its way to Events Square where the mayor said a few words, and people linked arms to sing Forever and Ever.
The Mayor said:
"This day is about a lady who has looked after us for 70 years and I'm so pleased people have turned out to show their appreciation for the Queen. I'd like to thank the band. I thought they were brilliant.
"Thank you to the councillors and Richard Gates who put this together. We have been blessed with the weather. Absolutely fantastic turnout."
Despite the gloomy weather this morning the Falmouth Street Party is going ahead at 1pm. The event is predominantly for children and parents/guardians. It is free to attend.
Taking place along the length of Market Street, there'll be a sea of Union Jacks, colourful bunting along with entertainment, and fun Jubilee party crowns. There'll be some seating available but in true British street party style, bring along your own small chair or stool if you have one. There won't have enough seating for everyone.
"The event is aimed to bring friends and families together in one place so you can celebrate in this unique setting. With this in mind, catering will be a mix of bring your own picnic, with some food provided. Please note, we can't cater for specific allergies at the event," the event reads.
