People turned out in their numbers in the rainy weather for the Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival 2022 finale.

Stages were closed on Saturday evening (18th) after safety concerns following strong winds and rain.

It was still raining on Sunday but the winds had eased off and the performances went ahead.

Sunday's performances included the Longest Johns (Skinner's Stage, Events Square), Flash Jack (Seasalt Stage, Custom House Quay), Mariners Away (Church Street Stage), The Oggymen (Events Square).

Following The Oggymen, Town Manager Richard Gates took the opportunity to thank everybody involved in the festival, announced the winners of the fundraising challenge, and the fundraising total.

Various shanty groups gathered on stage to perform together - the singing carried on into the evening at the Skinner's Bar, Events Square.
