Heavy traffic near Penryn this evening due to roadworks

If you are driving to or from Penryn this evening you can expect delays due to roadworks through Ponsanooth.

On St Michaels Road, traffic control is in use for work on a new water service.

The roadworks started today (14th) and are likely to continue for the duration of the week.

A spokesperson for BBC Travel SouthWest said:

"On the A393 through Ponsanooth there's heavy traffic due to roadworks."
