There is traffic congestion this evening in Penryn near the BMW dealership after an incident involving two vehicles.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"We were called by the fire service with a report of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles in Falmouth Road, Penryn, at around 3.50pm.

"Ambulance are also in attendance. The extent of any injuries is not currently known. There is heavy traffic in the area as a result of the incident."

The road has now reopened.
