Owners of an elderly and blind cat which has been missing for a few days are appealing for help and information.

Stanley the cat, who has been missing since Monday night from the College Hill area in Penryn, is said to not be one to wander off for long periods of time.

Owner Celia said:

"The gorgeous, illustrious and much loved Stanley cat has disappeared a couple of days ago and he is both very, very old and very, very blind.

"He is not wearing a collar but he is chipped."
