A crew from Falmouth Community Fire Station were tasked early this morning to a vehicle fire in Penryn.

At 8:28am a call was made to reports of a garage on fire at College Wood.

Revealing more details a spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue said:

"Two appliances from Falmouth and one from Truro were mobilised to the incident. Along with a Whole Time Officer.

"On arrival firefighters discovered one vehicle on fire, inside a workshop. Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire."
