Strong wind in Falmouth blows chicken away from home

A bantam chicken has been blown from her home on Windsor Terrace by the strong winds last night.

Babs the chicken, owned by Dolly Makin, 54, has been missing from its roosting tree where it stays with two other bantams, Fanny and Aunt Priscilla.

Falmouth Nub News spoke to the owner, she said:

"Babs may have blown over the wall last night.

"She blew away last year and ended up at the Marine School and the second time the other side of Killigrew Street."

Babs the chicken was last spotted on Windsor Court at 6.45am this morning and later at 8.30am where Doll was alerted by her neighbour.
