Family pays tribute to young pedestrian who died after fatal collision near Penryn

Tributes have been paid to a 30-year-old pedestrian who died in a collision with car in Penryn on Sunday 12 April.
Emergency services were called to the B3292 at Lower Treluswell at around 12.40am.
Rob Chandler (pictured), from Ponsanooth, Truro, was taken to hospital where sadly he died on Thursday 16 April.
Rob's family has paid the following tribute in loving memory of him: "Rob was a son, a brother, an uncle and a great friend to many.
"His effect on others was instant and forever lasting.
"His care, compassion and willingness to help others was at the forefront of his life and will extend after his death as it was his wish that his body be used to help those more in need elevating the pain of others.
"We are grateful to all those who surrounded Rob during his life and take solace in knowing how loved he was.
"We would also like to thank all those who cared for Rob and the family in his final moments. We are grateful for the valiant efforts of all those involved."
The collision involved a silver Peugeot 206.
Officers are appealing for witnesses of the collision, or anyone with dashcam footage, to call 101 or email [email protected], quoting Log 27 of 12/04/2020.
