Jake Heslip, the co-owner of The Windjammer Falmouth, is set to take on a huge charity challenge cycling from Falmouth to Lands End raising money for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal.

Takeaway Tuck "n" Roll has secured a new premises.

Run by Dean Lanyon, the business was operating from Falmouth Rugby Club but has now moved into the kitchen at St Gluvias Cricket Club.

The scheme to turn a former oil depot on Castle Drive, Falmouth into a residential area and a new town park was greeted with high praise in yesterday evenings council planning meeting.

The plans for 37 dwellings were given approval this week with conditions with the proposal being delivered as a 100% affordable housing development.
