Restaurant Four based on the High Street, Falmouth is set to host a kitchen swap dinner with all profits going to the NSPCC to support vulnerable children during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The chefs will become the servers and the front of house team will cook a 3 course meal.

Co-owner of Restaurant Four Ceri Unwin-Springett told Nub News:

"It is a passion of mine that no child should be left vulnerable or not have a meal, breaks my heart that there is this situation out there.

"With this school lunches situation going on there is going to be more children out there who are struggling, this is just to raise a bit of money to help in the current pandemic."

On the profit side, the team is hoping to raise £1,000 and there will be a bucket around that people can put money into.

Businesses in and around Falmouth have been flooding in to offer free school lunches after MPs voted not to extend the meals scheme in England.

Ceri added:

"It makes you frustrated and you think you can't trust any politician, children are the ones that I think it should always be treated like nothing has gone wrong especially young children.

"There are so many differences for them, their schooling and being in bubbles we should try and have a little bit of normality that they are still getting food at home, they are loved and looked after."

The dinner will take place on Thursday 26th November.
