This week, we're firing seven questions at Italian restaurant MANGIA.

1. Who are you and what is MANGIA?

MANGIA is a 24 cover Italian restaurant run by the Floris family. Valter is the chef and Sandra runs the front of house assisted by son Gianluca and daughter Sophia.

Valter originates from Northern Italy where he trained as a Baker before working for Princess Cruises, where he met Sandra.

2. If you had to describe your business in three words, what would they be?

Family, Homemade, Yummy

3. Give us one thing about your business that some people may not know?

We really are a completely family ran business.

4. What would you say is your business's proudest moment?

When people tell us we are one of their favourite destinations to dine at.

5. How has it been since lockdown?

We've had up and down days like most people over the last few weeks and have been trying to think of a way forward.

We have been looking at how we can adapt our little business to still remain viable while still adhering to government guidelines but not losing our identity.

6. What is your favourite thing about Falmouth?

No matter where you live you are never far away from a sea or river view.

7. Do you have a message for your customers?

DON'T ask for pineapple on pizza!

MANGIA this week launched a new takeaway collection service, serving pizzas, pasta dishes and their 'famous' tiramisu.
