Falmouth University is preparing to welcome students back to campus following the latest government announcement of easing lockdown restrictions.
From 8th March, universities have been told they can resume in-person teaching and learning for undergraduate and postgraduate students who are studying practical or practice-based subjects that require specialist equipment and facilities.

"Due to the nature of the teaching on all of our courses across the portfolio, this means that all of our students will be permitted to return to campus in less than two weeks," Vice-Chancellor & Chief Executive, Anne Carlisle said.
She added:
"We are therefore planning to return to the blended approach that we were delivering before Christmas. Welcoming our students back on to campus and into a functioning campus community is critical."
Plans are set to be finalised for the resumption of face to face teaching and learning, among the things that are to be confirmed are, arrangements for asymptomatic testing for staff and students, regular testing will be required for those accessing spaces and facilities.
Also to be revealed, arrangements for students who cannot return to campus and facilities access, including opening times and booking processes.
There are also decisions to be made around catering, accommodation and campus behaviours.
