Falmouth University has been found to be one of the best in the UK for graduate start-ups.

Research carried out by business financial platform Tide, revealed the universities that have produced the most graduate start-ups, including sole traders, since 2014/15.

The top three were Royal College of Art, Kingston University, and Falmouth.

Falmouth was found to have the most grad start-ups outside of London - which saw 1,135 businesses started by its alumni since 2014/15.

As with the other two most entrepreneurial universities, Falmouth is primarily a creative university and provides support via its Launchpad programme, which has a specific focus on helping students to bring their ideas into the market.

Other universities that made it into the top 10 were the University of Bedfordshire, Solent University, and The Manchester Metropolitan University.
