Falmouth: Road near Maenporth Beach closes after car flips onto roof

A road next to a popular beach in Falmouth was closed this afternoon after a car flipped onto its roof.

The collision occurred near Maenporth Beach, Falmouth, at around 12:35pm on Friday.

Witnesses said they saw ambulance, police, and fire engines on scene after an incident involving a white Fiat 500 and a silver Renault.

In an update Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News:

"We received a report of a road traffic collision in which a car had ended up on its roof in Maenporth Road, Falmouth, at around 12:10pm.

"Fire and ambulance services also attended the scene.

"No serious injuries reported and the road was clear by 2.05pm."
