Yesterday morning, 15th, there were multiple call-outs for local fire teams.

There were incidents in Mylor and Helford at 2am and 3am, with teams helping from Falmouth, Helston, and Mullion.

At just after 2am in Mylor Churchtown, crews from Falmouth, Helston, and a duty officer responded to reports of smoke-logged commercial premises where alarms were sounding.

On arrival, the crew discovered a small fire involving an under-counter fridge.

At 3:30am, appliances from Helston, St Keverne and Mullion were in attendance to a fire affecting an electrical consumer unit.

Western Power was called out to isolate the supply so that the fire could be extinguished safely.
