In this weeks rewind feature, you can get an insight into what Falmouth would have looked like in the 1970s.

Put together by video editor and creator Geoff Claydon of Memory Media , the old film from the early 1970s shows Killigrew Street, The Moor and Webber Street.

The film was shared in the Falmouth Down The Years Facebook page with residents recalling their memories of that time.

One resident commented:

"The moor has changed so much over the years, still walk past knowing where the toilets were, and have been paved over, and where the bus station was, which is now Iceland."

A second commented:

"Lovely to see my mum walking along Webber Street, she was going to the Boomerang Cafe."

A third added:

"Never tire of seeing this when life was more simple/less hurried."

Recently we brought you a rewind of Falmouth Town Centre in the 1930s, you can see that here.
