Falmouth's Restaurant Four on the High Street is looking forward to the Christmas period unveiling their menu for December.

November has been a difficult month for hospitality industry businesses, with restaurants only allowed to serve via takeaway or delivery.

The eatery revealed its new Christmas set menu earlier this month, showcasing a mix of festive favourites and restaurant classics, all made the Restaurant Four way.

Announced today, Falmouth and the whole of Cornwall will be in tier 1 when lockdown is over which means restaurants will be able to open again - offering table service.

Cornwall is only one of only three areas in the country to be placed in tier 1, as revealed by Health Secretary Matt Hancock.

Ahead of the reopening on December 2nd, the restaurant said, "we will be running our Christmas Set Menu for Lunch and Dinner, we are looking forward to hopefully seeing you all then.

"Please try and book a table via our website or call us on 01326 218 138."

You can get two courses for £22 or 3 courses for £26, so what's on the menu?

Starters

Rabbit Leg Terrine with Piccalilli, White Toast and Watercress.

Cider and Onion Soup with Cheese Croute.

Beetroot and Gin Cured Trout with Dill Pickled Cucumber, Shallot and Caviar.

Mains

Stuffed Turkey Breast, Fondant Potato, Sauteed Sprouts, Cranberries, Chestnut, Devils Horseback, Roast Parsnip and Fine Beans.

Pan-Fried Cod, Miso Beurre Blane, Confit Leg, Wild Rice and Cauliflower.

Winter Vegetable Pithivier, Cranberry Emulsion, Celeriac, and Buttered Cavolo Nero.

Desserts

Christmas Pudding, Brandy Anglaise, Cranberry and Orange Biscuit.

White Chocolate Panna Cotta, Cinder Toffee and Blackberry Compote.

Cornish Cheese and Biscuits.
