Falmouth Police: Woman charged after testing twice over the drink drive limit

Officers made an arrest last night after a woman failed a breath test, having found to being twice over the legal limit.

The woman failed to provide a roadside breath test and then later failed the same test in custody.

A spokesperson for Falmouth Police told Nub News:

"A Black Peugeot motor vehicle was reported travelling from Penzance to Helston travelling extremely slow and crossing the central road markings.

"Officers located the vehicle in Breage near Helston. Having stopped the vehicle the driver was arrested. She currently stands charged the offence of driving whilst over the limit following a reading of over twice the legal limit."

A case is now being prepared for court.
