Falmouth police officers assist in seizing vehicle after late-night pursuit

FALMOUTH police assisted in detaining a man last night after drugs were uncovered in his vehicle.

The man failed to stop for officers in Helston last night.

"One man has been detained by police suspected drugs located in a vehicle that initially failed to stop in Helston," Falmouth Police said.

A spokesperson for Alliance Roads Policing Team said:

"This vehicle was seized for no insurance after a pursuit in Helston. The driver made off but will be dealt with. Safety restored now that this is off the road.

"Thanks to Armed Response team of Devon & Cornwall, Falmouth Police and Cornwall Police Dogs for their help."
