After recently celebrating its 50th anniversary, Falmouth Poetry Group will be offering a full year of monthly writing workshops for just £5 a session at Falmouth Library (discounts available for multiple bookings).

The group was founded by Penelope Shuttle and Peter Redgrove in 1972, Penelope who has previously won awards for her poetry will be running the first session on the 8th of February from 10-12 noon.

The two-hour workshops will focus on short-form writing and poetry, giving people the chance to get together to write and generate new ideas.

The course will be suitable for all, whether you are just starting to discover poetry or already well-established. There will be opportunities to read out your work and take part in a publication.
