Falmouth has been named as one of the happiest places to live in the UK.

A survey by Rightmove invited residents to say how they feel about where they live and rank their experiences on ten happiness factors.

Falmouth finished 11th in the overall Happy at Home Index.

Tim Bannister of Rightmove said:

"Our latest research shows that despite all the challenges that this year has brought, many people have been able to reconnect with their local area and community which has had a positive effect on how they feel about where they live."

St Ives (Cornwall) topped the UK charts, Llandrindod Wells was Wales' most happy place and Perth came out top in Scotland.
