A physiotherapist at Falmouth Hospital is walking around the entirety of Cornwall to raise money for equipment that will help her patients.

Rebecca Henderson works as part of an in-patient therapy team that helps people get back to walking and independence after 'falls, fractures, and ill health'.

On the fundraiser for the walk, Rebecca said: "I want to raise £1000 to purchase a Taurus mobility aid to help people in their rehabilitation and plan to walk the Kylgh Kernow, this September, to fundraise."

The Kylgh Kernow, otherwise known as the Circuit of Cornwall trail, is a 387-mile-long walk around the entirety of Cornwall.

The walk consists of the Cornish section of the South West Coast path but also combines the Tamara Coast to Coast Way.

The Tamara Way is a newly created route that follows the Tamar River from Plymouth to Morwenstow; together this completes the walking route around Cornwall.

Rebbecca added that any donation made will help to support the work done at the community hospital in Falmouth.
