A Falmouth Rugby first aider is taking on a South Coast Ultra Challenge to raise money for charity.

Victoria Sutcliffe is working with the club's second team as a first aider for the 2023/24 season and will be walking 30 miles across the South Downs for Macmillan Cancer Support on September 2.

Victoria told Nub News why she decided to take on the challenge, she said: "I wanted to do the walk as my close friends have been directly affected by cancer this year and a friend of mine has just gone into a hospice.

"It will also be a personal challenge to myself as I have always struggled with sore knees and I've never walked this far before. I walked 15 miles in May on the Jurassic Coast ultra challenge event for the charity Mind and raised £300."

On Victoria's current fundraiser, (at the time of writing) she has already raised £320 of her target of £350. You can help her beat that target here: Victoria Sutcliffe is fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
