Falmouth residents and visitors are being reminded of the current restrictions in place ahead of what is expected to be a very busy weekend in the county.

This week the police issued a warning instructing people to take their rubbish home and respect social distancing.

Sunday could see temperatures exceed 23 degrees, Cornwall Council has sought to remind people of the restrictions ahead of the weekend.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Council said:

"Cornwall is likely to be very busy this weekend as we're expecting some warmer weather.

"But please make sure you keep up the social distancing wherever you are, and follow all Covid-safety measures in towns and high streets.

"It's vital to keep everyone safe."
