Owners of a popular Falmouth diner which had its window smashed on Monday evening believe ball bearings were used in the attack.

Little Red Rooster owners, Rebecca and Michael Prason, were shocked to discover their front window damaged after being closed for two days.

Ball bearings were found at the scene, which the owners said look too big for a gun but small enough for a slingshot.

They believe the incident took place between 8.33pm and 8.35pm on Monday evening.

CCTV footage from the premises is too dark to show who carried out the attack.

The owners are hoping CCTV on other shops in the area will give more insight into who the attack was carried out by.

The diner is remaining closed today for an unrelated technical reason.
