A decision is set to be made later on the go-ahead of the Red Arrows display in Falmouth with concerns over the weather.

Announced by the organisers of Falmouth Week this afternoon, they said further information would be given by the Red Arrows team at around 4pm.

Despite people travelling from further afield to see the display, this is the earliest time a call can be made because of the "ever-changing" forecast.

A spokesperson for Falmouth Week added:

"We are all working hard to get ready for the Red Arrows display later today, due to fly over the seafront from 6:15pm.

"We are keeping an eye on the weather and will receive further information from the RAF Red Arrows display team at approx 4pm today, which we will announce on our social media channels and the Falmouth Week website."

More information to follow as we get it.
