A Falmouth cafe has today announced it will be reopening its doors to the public for takeaway.

Cafe Strand, situated at 3 Market Strand, has said they will be open for business on Friday 12th June.

The cafe will have safety measures in place including contactless payment, a one-way traffic system and consistent sanitising of surfaces.

Owners Matthew and Jack told Nub News:

"We are currently finishing a few renovations and ensuring our cafe is safe for staff and customers.

"This is just a starting point for us, we hope to expand our hours, menu and possibly introduce a delivery service in the near future.

"We have truly missed you all and are looking forward to catching up and serving you soon."

Sunday roasts will be available as well as Strand's usual menu of cooked breakfasts and lunches, baps and sandwiches, sweet treats and drinks.

This week Cafe Strand will be open:

Friday and Saturday: 10 - 4

Sunday: 11- 3
