Falmouth based theatre company Swashbuckling Cornwall has set up a crowdfunding page as they look to get funds to continue providing performances and workshops.
Swashbuckling teaches professionals and enthusiastic amateur actors in stage performance and dramatic combat.
The Coronavirus pandemic has left the business with a very uncertain landscape and they have had to cancel a wide range of performance and workshops this year.
Now Swashbuckle is looking to the future and appealed for help as they step up to stage one of "Project Pheonix."
Swashbuckling said:
"As 2020 draws to a close, we want to explore some new work we have been developing, bringing together actors and other creatives to take it off the page and bring it to life, swords, dragons, pirates and all.
"Your support will let us fight back against Coronavirus. Allowing us to begin to roll out a series of new and exciting events from 2021 - maybe even sooner."
The fundraising target has been set at £1,500 with £914 raised already.
