The 'Front has been named the best place to drink beer in Cornwall by ratebeer.com, receiving an average rating of 4.05 stars out of 5 on the site.

The quayside bar, managed by Matt Reay, is an ale and beer house which has been an establishment for over twenty five years.

The RateBeer website measures visitor reviews on over forty thousand beers in over thirty-three thousand brewers around the world.

The ratings counted for the last year are used to determine a winner in each county of the UK. Historical performance is also considered and a minimum number of reviews is required for pubs and bars to be eligible.

Matt Reay, manager of The 'Front, told Nub News:

"It is really nice for the team to win, it's a reaffirmation that we're doing something right and keeping the beer drinkers of Cornwall happy."
