Falmouth and Penryn surgeries latest advice on vaccines.

Yesterday evening, Matt Hancock announced a change of government tactics in a Downing Street press conference.

The health secretary said people 70+ who have not been contacted for the vaccine to do so now.

Until now, people were instructed not to contact the NHS regarding vaccination appointments, but instead wait until they were invited.

It was feared a flood of enquiries would overwhelm the system.
