Falmouth and Penryn businesses look forward to Cornwall Tourism Awards finals day

The full list of Cornwall Tourism Awards finalists has been announced with a series of Falmouth and Penryn businesses looking forward to a big event in February.

The awards, now in their 20th year, saw an increased 125 entries into the 2021/22 awards.

There were 66 selected as finalists who must now wait until Awards day on 3rd February when they will learn whether they have won Gold, Silver, Bronze, or a Special award. A further 13 received Commended status.

In Falmouth and Penryn

Wetwheels South West, Falmouth were commended in Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Awards.

Chelsea House Falmouth are finalists in the B&B and Guesthouse of the Year.

Bango Kitchen, Penryn are finalists in the Casual Dining, Cafe and Tearoom of the Year.

Finalists in Experience of the Year is Mylor Sailing and Powerboat School.

Large Hotel of the year finalist is St Michaels Resort, Falmouth.

New Tourism Business Award finalists Via Ferrata Cornwall, Penryn.

The Boathouse Falmouth will wait to see if they have won Pub of the Year. Commended in that category was Trengilly Wartha Inn.

Trengilly Wartha Inn is up for another award having been listed as finalists in the Resilience and Innovation Award.

Hotel Meudon is up for Restaurant of the Year.

In the Spa and Wellbeing Experience of the Year, finalists are Falmouth's St Michaels Resort.
