Eight people have died in the Falmouth and Penryn area after contracting coronavirus, according to the latest figures.

The figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) show deaths at a local level for people who have contracted Covid-19.

The map shows two deaths in Falmouth South and West, four in Falmouth East and one in Falmouth North. One person has unfortunately died in Penryn.

Deaths are reported by postcode area, which is why exact places are not revealed.

The statistics listed are for deaths where Covid-19 was the underlying cause or was mentioned on the death certificate as a contributory factor, between March 1 and May 31.
