Driver faces fine after being stopped in Penryn

A driver faces points on their licence and a fine after being found uninsured driving another person's car.

The driver was stopped yesterday evening (11th) in Penryn – with the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team issuing a reminder over insurance policies.

The unit urged people read their insurance policy before driving someone else's car.

They said on social media:

"You must ensure you read/comply with the T+Cs of your insurance policy before driving another car thinking you are covered 3rd party.

"The driver of this vehicle found out the hard way receiving endorsements and a fine as they were not insured."
