A JustGiving page has been set up for a 3 yr boy named Albie from the local area who sadly lost his mum Sophie Cook recently to a cardiac arrest.

The crowd funder was only set up one day ago and had set a target of £1,000, the amount raised has now reached over £13,000 after an amazing reaction from the local community.

The organiser behind the JustGiving page has posted this message when setting up the page: "This little boy meant the absolute world to Sophie Cook, i Know no amount of money will ever help sophies poor family at this very sad time but I'm just reaching out to try and maybe help Albie for his future to help towards things I know Sophie would have loved to have done for him.

"Sophie cook took poorly on march 11th and sadly passed away in hospital on the 12th, Sophie had her whole life ahead of her and was truly a beautiful soul, she was the best mummy, daughter, stepdaughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunty, and cousin, she was so loved by all her friends and even by people she didn't no so well.

"Sophie would want her little boy to have everything in life and to enjoy all those moments with him but because she sadly won't be able to I am reaching out to everyone who knew, loved, or just would like to help donate towards her special little boy Albie age 3."
