Covid marshalls will be patrolling the town again.
Covid marshalls will be patrolling the town again.

A limited number of students at Falmouth University are set to return for in-person teaching this week.

Many university courses are back to blended learning, as well as schools, with the appropriate testing measures in place.

As that happens, the Uni/Town Council Covid marshals are back too.

Announced by Jayne Kirkham over the weekend, she added:

"The universities and Falmouth Town Council continue to co-fund the Covid-Marshalls, who will re-commence their patrols in town, residential and beach areas. They will operate 7 nights a week from 8pm - 3am. This will be reviewed again after the Easter bank holiday."

Regular testing is an important factor in the Government decision to open campuses further - everyone at the university is being asked to get tested twice a week.
