Community choir Sing Falmouth has issued advice to those attending sessions following the Coronavirus outbreak.

This notice comes after five cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Cornwall.

A notice posted on the groups Facebook page read:

"In order to protect the most vulnerable in our community, we are advising our members on how to stay safe and healthy whilst still enjoying our weekly choir sessions.

"First and foremost, choir sessions will still be taking place until Government advice changes. However, please only attend choir if you are well enough to do so and we request that if you are experiencing any cold/flu-like symptoms that you stay at home and rest.

"We will also request that everyone who attends choir wash their hands before each session. Hand wash will be provided! We appreciate your cooperation."
