The Falmouth Eagles fixture this weekend has been postponed due to coronavirus cases.

Falmouth were due to travel away and face league leaders Wadebridge Camels in the Tribute Western Counties West on Saturday (8th).

However, that fixture has been called off with covid cases reported in the Falmouth squad.

Announced on social media, a spokesperson for the club commented:

"We have not taken this decision lightly but having some cases of covid within the playing squad, we feel player welfare and safety is our priority.

"We will look forward to when we can rearrange this fixture and keep you updated as to when that will be."

Falmouth's next scheduled fixture is at home to Bideford on Saturday 15th January.
