Back in March, CEX who claim to be Britain's biggest second-hand electronics and entertainment specialists submitted plans to take over the old O2 shop on 15 Market Street in Falmouth.

However, yesterday a withdrawal letter was submitted to the planning portal with the Council confirming that the plans for a new 'projecting sign' at the front of the building have now been withdrawn by the company.

It has not yet been confirmed if a second application will be submitted.

You can find all the details of the planning portal here: 15 - 15A Market Street Falmouth Cornwall TR11 3AF
