Castle Beach Cafe, has announced plans to reopen for takeaway at the end of March.

Owner Fiona Crump, will be reopening the cafe on Monday 29th March.

Fiona was one of the standout figures back in October during the half-term school lunches movement.

MPs voted against offering school lunches free of charge during half term and she took the matter into her own hands offering to make up free lunch bags.

In an announcement to customers this afternoon, Fiona said:

"I had hoped that we might manage something approaching normality this year but it looks like it will still be a restricted menu, reduced staffing and masks all round.

"On the plus side, we will be here in time for Easter to supply you with amazing coffee, cakes, sandwiches, pasties and more (I'm working on a manageable menu.)"
