Car dealer driving to Falmouth caught speeding on motorway at 100mph

A car dealer has been reported after police caught them doing 106mph on the way to Falmouth.

The driver was stopped this morning (25th) just after 8:30am on J27 near Tiverton on the M5.

Details were posted by Sgt Steve BJ of North Devon Roads Policing Unit after the motorist was caught racing down the motorway - the speed limit is a maximum 70mph.

Sgt Steve added:

"Just stopped Dave the Car dealer dropping a customer's car off to Falmouth at 106mph. The new customer may want to let the little 1.2 engine cool down."

As a result, the driver was reported.
