Budock Water residents braved the rain to celebrate the village's Christmas lights switch on.

Despite the rain yesterday evening (3rd), community members came out to sing carols, dance in fake snow, with hot food and drinks on hand to keep people warm.

This week volunteers have been hard at work getting everything ready for the big night.

The event was a great opportunity for everyone to get together, but also to raise important funds for Budock Water Playing Field.
