Various injuries were sustained and arrests were made yesterday evening after a mass brawl in Falmouth, police have revealed.

This morning, details were shared by 'The Hungry Copper' on social media of arrests made in Falmouth after a large public order incident.

In an update, the police said they were called to Discovery Quay, Falmouth, last night at around 11:30pm with a report of a large fight involving bottles and glasses being thrown.

A 19-year-old man sustained a wound to his eye/face, a 22-year-old man sustained a dislocated shoulder, and a 21-year-old man sustained a minor injury to his head.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson added:

"A 21-year-old man from Falmouth was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and was subsequently released with no further action to be taken.

"A 22-year-old man from Falmouth and a 19-year-old man from Newquay were arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm and are in police custody this morning."
