The owners of Life's A Beach Cafe, at Maenporth have appealed for the return of items following a theft this morning.

The police were notified after a socket set and a sign were stolen whilst the team were moving a shipping container.

Posting details on social media, a spokesperson said, "times are hard and this is very upsetting."

Can you help them get the items back? If you want to return it, you can leave it on the kiosk.

They continued:

"If you picked it up thinking someone had just left it please contact us to arrange a return.

"We would be grateful if the white van with a grey side door that was parked at the far end has any information or if anyone knows of this van, please contact us."
