'Superb seafood in a homely setting': Nub News reviews The Four-Seas Seafood Restaurant & Grill

As you walk down Webber Street tucked away is The Four-Teas Tearoom a unique 1940s themed tearoom that opened in February.

At Curious Hall is a new venture for the business, a seafood restaurant called Four-Seas Seafood Restaurant and Grill.

The Four-Seas restaurant gives diners a completely different experience.

The restaurant opened on August 1st and Nub News was invited in for a meal.

I was greeted warmly at the door by Ollie who showed me to my table, the decor is very modern and it's not a huge space which makes it quite intimate and cosy.

Ollie was very attentive all evening, he came over and took my order.

A perfectly sized menu, lots to pick from but not so much you get lost in it.

A big fan of seafood, I went for the Crab and Lobster Tacos with chips, for £16.50 the portion size fits the price to a tee (see picture above) and a healthy amount of chips, I was full by the end which is always a great sign.

Speaking to volunteer Angie, she tells me how all the fish is fresh sourced locally from places such as Penzance.

You could definitely taste that freshness in the crab and lobster which was given great attention, dressed in chilli butter.

I happened to hear across from me one customer call the fish pie the "best she ever tasted" which might give you the indication of the quality here.

Headed by chef Lynda who specialises in fish the pair decided to add another arrow to their bow now operating three businesses.

"We want to make it feel like you were in your own home with a private chef," Angie told me, and I certainly felt that way as I could have sat there all evening enjoying the relaxing vibe.

The meal was refreshing, coleslaw added into the tacos for that crunch to counteract the soft crab and lobster. A few chillies added in to give it a kick but not to overpower that great flavour of the seafood.

Overall, a great relaxed setting with a few candles and music, I was well looked after and it's nice to see Lynda and Angie back on their feet after a difficult period.

I will be returning at some point to try that fish pie!
