An action-packed day is expected tomorrow at The Recreation Ground as Falmouth Rugby Club host a Ready4Rugby festival.
During the whole club festival, academy and senior sides will get to play games of touch rugby, awards will be handed out and there will be a special visit from the Cornwall RFU president to reaccredit the club.
Club chairman John Bullock told Nub News:
"We are doing a barbecue, the barbecue will be in aid of a charity called Jay's Aim, they have donated a defibrillator to the club.
"There will be club awards and presentations, it is bigger than club awards we are doing the presentation of cups and awards from last season and we are also awarding colours, something which goes to players who have played 75 games for the senior side.
"The club has been reaccredited to the RFU, we are the first club in the county to be reaccredited and the president of the Cornwall RFU is coming to present us with that."
The president of the Cornwall RFU will also present the Mitsubishi awards, as one of the club volunteers has won a national award.
After the seniors have finished their tournament the club will be showing the Heineken Cup Final between Exeter and Racing 92.
There will also be a pop-up bar from Skinners. Lots to look forward to.
John Bullock added:
"To be quite honest it is really fantastic, what we have tried to do is once a month put on some sort of festival.
"We did our first festival back in September and one of the joys was watching the players faces rebonding in sport, rebonding socially and the joy of seeing them run around on a rugby pitch.
"Rugby has got such a grand effect on people, not only physically but on their mental health."
