"This is not a normal barbershop": New shop opens in Falmouth offering styles from all over the world

A brand new barbershop has opened up in Falmouth offering professional international haircuts in a fashionable and relaxed setting.

Opened this week by Lami, Lee, and Omran, the shop has taken over the premises where Cash Brokers was based on Killigrew Street (next door to Lloyds Bank).

The three are friends and have all been working in the industry for 15-20 years, cutting hair all around the world, and now moving to open new shops in Falmouth and Truro.

The trio are bringing their international experience with them offering a vast range of styles from across the world.

"This is what we have done all our lives," Lee told Nub News.

Lee continued:

"We are always updating ourselves, because this business is really fashionable so things change and we need to always up with the times.

"We are not a normal barbershop, all of the staff have the same passion, we don't see it as a job we see it as something we want to do.

"When you ask me where I work I can't give you the answer because I am doing something I love to do. When I put someone in the chair I want them to be happy, we want people to enjoy their time here and we make sure we pay attention to the detail.

"We do a lot of different things to barbers in Falmouth, we do flaming, ear flaming, a special massage to the face, using old-fashioned products that you can't get here anymore. We also do wet shave and cutthroat shave, which not many barbers do around here."

"Ace of Blades" barbershop is open Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday's 8:30am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Call 01326 61707 to book, walk in's also welcome.
