The plans for a new eco-boutique are well underway on Killigrew Street, Falmouth.

OldeRope, based on The Moor, has been 10 years in the works, the eco-boutique and creative workshop space will sell beautiful quality homeware and clothing made from waste/recycled products.

They will also be running workshops so that you can refashion your fashion and remake your home.

The OldeRope team said:

"Within the OldeRope shop we are creating a wonderful space to host creative workshops to teach everyone how to fix/mend/adapt and reinvent your clothes and homeware.

"We have our in house seamstress who will be running some of the workshops alongside specialists in different fields.

"We are very excited to be able to make this part of the reuse ethos of the store and will be releasing dates as soon as we know when we will be allowed."

If you would like to be notified of upcoming workshops and courses you can message Olde Rope on social media to be added to the mailing list.

They revealed this week that the shop fit is in its last stages with the units going up and the walls painted.

"Recycled never looked so good," they added.

An opening date is yet to be revealed but follow their progress on Facebook and Instagram.
