Penryn residents are set to see road closures throughout November and into early December as full road maintenance gets underway on the A39 and the B3292.

The majority of work will be carried out at night between the hours of 7pm to 6am to minimise disruption to local communities.

The work will involve gully emptying, sign cleaning, strimming, other drainage maintenance as well as resurfacing in some areas.

A spokesperson for Cormac said:

"Road closures will be in place so that we can deliver the works safely. However, our traffic marshals will do their best to accommodate the requirements of anyone affected by the works and access will be maintained for residents and businesses within the closed sections."
