Falmouth fire crew were tasked late this evening to assist at the scene of a road traffic collision.

The team was on hand to help the police after a collision involving a single vehicle on Avenue Road, Falmouth.

There were no reports of anyone injured in the incident.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said:

"One appliance from Falmouth Fire Station was mobilised to assist police at the scene of a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle.

"On arrival crews confirmed that all persons were accounted for and assisted police with making the scene safe."
