Rowe's Cornish Bakery has told Falmouth Nub News that their shop on Market Street will be reopening next week.

The bakery's Falmouth branch will be opening its doors for customers on May 4th with newly revised opening hours.

This comes following Rowe's launching a hot delivery service that will cover Falmouth two days a week.

The new hours are from 9.00 -15.00 Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

A spokesperson for Rowe's told Nub News:

"After weeks of closure, we are very pleased to be able to start re-opening some of our shops.

"A lot of planning had gone into getting a shop prepared for reopening, not just the logistics of re-stocking and deep cleaning, but also a series of safe distancing measures we have installed in the shops to ensure it is a safe environment for our people and our customers.

"The shop will have our core product lines of pasties, savouries and limited lines of sweet products available initially, all pre-bagged for ease of takeaway, and less dwelling time in the shops.

"We want to start reopening our shops gradually to inject a sense of life and hope back on our high streets and continue to spread that pasty love and cheer.

"It feels great to finally start welcoming our customers back to Rowe's. We have missed them."

Only card payments will be accepted at this time and the bakery asks that contactless transactions are used as much as possible.
